THE STORY

Crane, Texas. 1989.

In a small West Texas oil town, fear and misinformation surrounding HIV begin to tear through a community.

Libby Weaver, a young single mother, finds herself facing a diagnosis that changes everything. As the people around her begin to pull away, she becomes increasingly isolated from the town—and from the people she once depended on.

Rodney Fisher, an oilfield worker who knew Libby's father, refuses to turn his back on her.

What follows is a deeply human story about fear, compassion, loss, and the people who choose to stay when everyone else walks away.

SOME TOWNS TURN AWAY. SOME PEOPLE DON'T.
